Psychotherapy

Does life seem like a never ending struggle? Sometimes there is little benefit in doing the things we do that keep on getting the same old unwanted results. Chronic habits and patterns can feel like they have a stronghold on our behavior; and our unconscious actions can have devastating consequences.

 

This is because we are acting from our subconscious drives; not truly present in our reality, and not perceiving the unique realities of those around us. We can have little insight; poor mental or emotional stability, and no real peace of mind.

 

Psychotherapy can show us how to come into Present Moment awareness, and enable us to respond more effectively to situations; instead of reacting from our hidden patterns.

 

Is it time to step up and take charge of overwhelming emotional issues; stop reacting to the small stuff, and start being present with life in every moment?

 

Only you can make the life altering decision to break the chains of your subconscious programming; and you can do it, I know you can.

Trauma Healing

Healing our trauma is sometimes necessary for our survival. First, we must find a space of safety in order to allow ourselves to really attend to traumatic wounds with the support of a compassionate counsellor.

​

In Trauma Healing work, we begin by learning resilience tools which will help you manage triggers as they happen. You will learn how to bring the mind and emotions into a state of balance. 

​

You will learn about personal boundaries and why they are so important to mental and emotional health. You will learn about stress and how to decrease the stressors in your life so that coping becomes so much easier.

​

You will learn about the state of trauma and how to calm the mind, emotions and body so that you can be free of distressing thoughts and feelings.

​

In trauma healing, we unpack the trauma and review it. We open up to feelings and learn how to use our memories, stories and dreams to inform our healing process.

​

On the way to a healthy state of being, we begin to understand the self and get to know who we are on a very deep level. We learn how to process our emotions and learn techniques for releasing the pain of the past.

​

You will learn about your personal patterns and subconscious programming and how to release these obstacles to authenticity and success. You will learn spiritual practices that will assist you to connect with your true self.

 

In the process of trauma healing, you will expand your conscious awareness and ultimately leave the cycle. 

 

This is a journey of learning to release the past and live consciously connected with your spiritual nature.
